A new gaming test on Tencent's Peacekeeper Elite has provided power consumption figures of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, MediaTek Dimensity 9000, Snapdragon 870, and Huawei's Kirin 9000. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, sadly, comes in last.

That test of the 870 and 8g1 is flawed. the 870 is in a tablet. you cannot compare thermals on a tablet to a smartphone.
