Title: An allegedly Snapdragon 8cx Gen3-based Lenovo device shows up on Geekbench
Post by: Redaktion on November 23, 2021, 16:12:53
Qualcomm is currently thought to have a successor to the Snapdragon 8cx Gen2 chipset for PCs in development. Now, more evidence of possible progress with this SoC has emerged on Geekbench, in the form of a mystery Lenovo machine that has appeared on this database. Its performance seems to build on that of the processor's alleged initial outing on the same benchmark.

Nice! For me is ok! Hope to see it in minipc or sbc!

In 2023 with ARMv9 will be on par with M1 it's next successor (but who know how will be called ... 9cx gen 1?)

Let me guess, this time not 835/845 but 870 renamed and tweaked for laptops? Why can't they do proper design for PC... hope that after the Qualcomm x MS deal will expire Mediatek will do it.
