Engineering student Kenn Pillonel's modded iPhone X with the Lightning port swapped out for a fully functioning USB Type-C port has sold on eBay auction for an astounding US$86,001. However, the device is more of a collector's item as Pillonel has cautioned against using it as a daily driver or installing software updates.
