RPCS3, one of the most popular PlayStation 3 emulators, can now boot every single PlayStation 3 title ever made. This does not mean that every PS3 game is playable on the emulator, but it is a major accomplishment and a significant step toward complete compatibility.

On the technical side, this is a great achievement.
On the value side, now you can play your old PS3 games again (and in 4K) even if your machine is broken. You can buy old games, emulation needs not require piracy.
Most PS3 games have been ported to newer consoles, but it's still nice to be able to emulate as well. ^^

Ikr. Even ePSXe and PCSX2 allows you to run the game using the original CD, which automatically prevents piracy.
