The display-centric tech website DisplayMate has tested the display of the iPhone 13 Pro Max and concluded that Apple's biggest and most expensive flagship smartphone has a record setting OLED display that supposedly is one of the best in the entire industry.

Sigh, yet another person who has no idea who businesses work. Let's see an example. AMD designs chips. Then they tell TSMC to build those chips and then those chips come out in real life, and not just ideas on paper. Who gets the recognition for those record-breaking chips? TSMC or AMD? It's AMD. TSMC just has a bunch of factories, but they don't do anything with AMD's schematics. They just build. The same thing applies to Samsung and Apple. Apple designs their CPUs and their screens. They use TSMC for building those chips, however, since Samsung has the most display factories, Samsung builds those displays. The schematics of the displays that Apple gives Samsungs are just that: schematics. Just because Samsung builds Apple's displays doesn't mean that those displays are Samsung's. Apple patented those displays, and they are completely theirs. Apple designs those displays and Samsung will get the same recognition that TSMC does, since they have a lot of factories. Without Apple, Samsung wouldn't make those displays. And without Samsung, Apple would just find another supplier. You people need to understand the basics of business dynamics.
