Title: Lenovo restores missing GPU feature after four months
Post by: Redaktion on September 02, 2021, 09:02:21
After pages of complaints online from Legion laptop owners in Germany, Lenovo has finally returned full GPU functionality to their Legion laptops. The lack of this feature caused many issues, including crashes in certain GPU-accelerated applications.

There's a special BIOS version for Germany? Why? And couldn't they just run another version (like from Switzerland) that doesn't have the problem? Strange.

Yngmar did you found a Bios where it says in readme that it fixes this issue?

Thanks

Considering the average time people keep a laptop like this is probably around three years, and they went four months without a key functionality it was sold as having, I think Lenovo should reimburse those users 10% of their purchase price, at the very least. Should be a class action.

they didnt even have enough to be sold off (legion 7i 2020) for us to go with class action lawsuit since THEY (lenovo) DESIGN is faulty and is liable to break without user abuse
and then claim it was user abuse when RMA warranty is called in to play
