Why are we fetishizing charge rates and pretending that it's not a ploy to facilitate quicker battery deterioration through heating and thereby forcing consumers to buy phones more often? I hope Google keeps the charge rate nice and low.
I'm not aware of any phone that doesn't allow the user to limit the charge rate to something much slower. I'm confident this Pixel will as well if you are concerned about battery degradation.
So if you want your phone to charge at 33w you have to pay extra??
That is stupid in 2 ways...
1 you have to pay extra and maybe wait for it to get delivered!
2 extra boxing is not a way to show that you are a green company!!
