Title: M1 MacBook owners complain that their screens cracked for no apparent reason
Post by: Redaktion on August 02, 2021, 23:08:04
Several users of an M1 MacBook have claimed that the display of their laptop broke during regular usage. The repair of such a defect is pricey, and Apple has not yet commented on the issue.

The only good decent Apple product is the Mac Mini.

The only good decent Apple product is the Mac Mini.

Even that is worse than it used to be. The SSD is soldered to the mainboard. Who else does that?

Apple is way past its prime.

I have a hunch for the Air... but not for the Pro. The Air, when closed, has exposed display cables when you flip over the laptop and look at the hinge bar. It's a very small gap that shows them and is almost completely hidden when open but it could tear and rip... not really sure if the older designs had this.

Thanks Apple.
