Title: The cracked version of Resident Evil 8 runs better than a legit copy of the game

In a perfect world, honest customers should not be bothered by DRM mechanisms that silently run in the background while playing a game. However, a cracked version of CAPCOM's new Triple-A title Resident Evil Village has now unveiled that the integrated copy protection may be the root cause for the poor performance that is plaguing the PC version of the highly-anticipated horror game.

Here's an idea to replace DRMs: every time you want to play a game, a cop will show up at your house and demand a proof of purchase. Boom! No more dropped framerates.

Or just refuse to buy games from companies that impose stupid DRM schemes. If you make good games, people will buy them. And there are plenty of great games around, waiting to be played.

The article glaringly ignores that the pirate version also has events and models missing in the game.
