Information about Age of Empires IV has been shared after details and screenshots of the upcoming RTS game were seemingly accidentally posted on Steam. The file size for Age of Empires IV, which will apparently be released on October 28, has also purportedly been leaked.

Prediction: AOE 4 will be largely forgotten in 5 years, while AOE 2 will still be popular in 20 years.
Interesting...looks like an AOE2 remake with AOE3's engine...with some more content added of course. Both Genghis Khan and Joanne D'Arc have had storylines in AOE2 before, let's see how much they've improved.
...Anyhow, nothing seems to justify the ~100GB size. I don't see how it should be bigger than AOE3.
Hardcore RTS players used to have 1 terabyte hard drives even before 2010. Why would they tremble at a mere 100 gb in 2021? As long as the game is worth it, such storage requirements were to be expected. Serious gamers have machines in 10s of gigabytes of ram and tens of terabytes of hard disk storage. Even casual gamers on a low budget have a couple of terabytes in their machines by now.
