I have an acer notebook whose screen started to turn white after 5 minutes. I plugged it in the HDMI and picture was there, which led me to believe it was screen cable issue. After shutoff and trying to work see if cable is damaged, I cannot start it any more. It says "no boot device" (probably because I did CMOS reset) and if I try to go into BIOS, I get blank BIOS which shows the look of BIOS but has nothing written in it. Also cannot get anything over HDMI now.
Has anybody had this happen and managed to fix it?
