Title: Exclusive: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 and GeForce RTX 3050 Ti laptop GPU benchmarks point to decent 1080p gaming performance for entry-level cards
Post by: Redaktion on March 31, 2021, 21:47:47
We can confirm that NVIDIA plans to release the GeForce RTX 3050 and GeForce RTX 3050 Ti in multiple configurations. The GeForce RTX 3050 series will replace NVIDIA's GTX 16 series, but early benchmarks show the RTX 3050 TI outperforming even the RTX 2060 in Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

What's wrong with Intel and Nvidia this year lol? They forgot how numbers work. 1660ti performs better than 3050ti

thank you samsung for this shitty process that makes the 30 series barely faster than 20 series baked on tsmc.

Same old ngreedia garbage, remember there's almost no difference between a 970m and a 1050ti as one example, they're just adjusted via drivers to be better in new games is all. New cards, in many cases, do the same or worse on older games because of drivers, any benefit is just brute force. When a 1660ti is better than a 3050ti you see the full nonsense of the naming, but in this case there was no official 2050 series so it's just a one generation thing. Still if you need to upgrade a good mid range rtx card, when available for standard prices, is fine for a few years, above that is just waste/bad priorities.

I am hovering over the buy button of the Flow x13 more often than note lately but that would make the ultimate niche laptop I'm looking for!
