Title: Leaked Alder Lake slides highlight key single and multi-threaded performance gains, core configuration, and more
Post by: Redaktion on March 20, 2021, 19:49:08
Several key Alder Lake features have been highlighted via a new leak. This particular SKU will come with eight Golden Core and eight Gracemont cores that will offer up to 20% and 2X better single and multi-threaded performance. DDR5 and PCI Gen5 support is confirmed too, along with some key Intel 600 series chipset specifications.

This is great, so what manufacturing node are they on? 10nm, 10nm++, 10nm++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++, 7nm? Maybe these will be made on TSMC 7nm nodes now Apple has moved to 5nm, in production and in the hands of consumers.

10nm+++ as this node somewhat refined right now and AMD has secured most of TSMC 7nm production.

boring all individuals that repeat someone that was repeated millions time with those "plus" to catch more plus on Disqus, but fortunately we are in notebookcheck and not in WCtech. Even videocardz is more serious with theirs constructive comments.

14nm+++ is equal to 12nm
10 Enhanced SuperFin is just 10+++ aka 8.5 nm
but they can reach even 7 or 5nm but nothing will be changed if not they introduce x3D node with their little die size that don't touch 250mm^2 like in tiger lake that could beat easily AMD reaching 10c/20t for an i9. this because intel CEO market has reached a secret agreement with AMD.
