The latest version of iOS (14.4) is now available as a stable update. Installing it causes a new kind of "important hardware message" to pop up should an iPhone detect that its rear camera module has been unofficially replaced. Apple has also noted that the software includes patches for potentially actionable vulnerabilities.

So they rolled back the sabotage code and leave the nagware in place. At least a step back in the right direction, not that we could hope for any better.
The day when Apple goes bankrupt, will be a holiday for me. What a shitty and toxic company in all levels. They would be better off dead, honestly.
Ban these Apple produkts un EU
EU should require they make all the tools and manuals necessary to perform repairs available to all repair centers, just as they did it with cars.
They just want to nudge you into spending more for AppleCare.
On the bright side, Apple phones retain their resale value much better than any Android phone. So if you handle your iPhone with care and upgrade every 1-2, max 3 years, you're set.
Who is looking forward to Apple cars? Made by engine fire specialists and warranty denial experts on a car that would cost 1000 dollars per tyre and only Apple can do it.

They would likely never go bankrupt, but they could lose dominance. Although their ability to be endearing to its users and particularly wealthy or egotistic types would likely make the company quite sustainable for a while. No other company has a comparable focus on user experience and integration (if you can afford it). Apple went full evil real quick.
