Sony may have resurrected its Xperia Compact line, according to OnLeaks. The leaker has published multiple CAD renders of the device online, which reputedly is just 140 mm tall with a 5.5-inch display. While some people may be hoping for a new compact flagship smartphone from Sony, several design cues suggest that the handset will be a distinctly mid-range affair.

maybe its time to upgrade my Xperia XA1.
need to know how light this new phone will be, hopefully under 150g.
There is something weird with the size (140 x 68.9 x 8.9 mm), at least if Sony keeps the 21:9 aspect ratio that they use in all of their phones.
Indeed, with a 21:9 aspect ratio, the width should be something like 58.9 mm if the height is 140 mm (with the screen being 5.5" = 128 x 55 mm). If the width is actually 68.9 mm, the height would be much more than 140 mm.
What it means is or Sony will use a different type of screen with a different aspect ratio (something like 2:1), or the alleged information is wrong.
I'm just saying :)
