Canonical has brought Ubuntu Desktop to the Raspberry Pi. The humble single-board computer can now be pre-loaded with Ubuntu 20.10, albeit only on the Raspberry Pi 4.

I tried it but the port is very slow on pi 3 b.

Ubuntu server 20.04 LTS was already available and I have converted that to a desktop running MATE using Winpy's desktopify. Works like a charm on PI4-8GB
