An alleged AnTuTu score of Samsung's newly-released Exynos 1080 has been posted online. It nets an overall score of 693,600, effectively demolishing the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ across the board. The chip is expected to make its debut alongside a Vivo device in late 2020.

The article doesn't make a lot of sense in that any SoC that uses latest gen A78 or X1 cores will easily best SoCs based on ARM cores from an earlier generation.

This says nothing at all about how the forthcoming SoCs from Samsung and Qualcomm will stack up against one another. Sorry to say it but the article is just a long non sequitur. What an unedifying spectacle of wasted words.
