Title: PlayStation 5: a Singapore study extols the virtues of holding off on a purchase until later
Post by: Redaktion on September 21, 2020, 22:52:34
The PlayStation 5 will launch in Singapore on November 19, 2020. On that date, its Standard edition will be the most expensive variant of its series yet in that country (as indeed it will for pretty much all its markets). However, some new research may predict when its price will get more bearable for many consumers.

And if they wait 5-6 more years they would be able to buy the PS5 at a 50% discount. And if they don't buy it at all, they can expect a 100% discount.

6-8% discount is very small. 6 months of waiting looking at prices and hopping for sales, mentally costs much more to the person waiting, than the dollars saved.
