Post by: Redaktion on August 30, 2020, 18:07:59
Huawei has been rumored to release the first phone with HarmonyOS - its contingency against the loss of access to Android - out of the box by the end of 2020. However, the CEO of its Consumer Business Group has reportedly confirmed that this will not be the case. Speaking at a Chinese conference, the executive indicated that this plan might be implemented in 2021 instead.

That, or a trade deal without one, less likely though. But the further they push back their promise the higher the chance of them appearing to make good on it in one form or another.
