A Sony Wi-Fi 6 (IEEE 802.11ax) wireless communication module has been spotted in certification that likely pertains to the PlayStation 5. An image of the chip has also been revealed in one particular filing, which also includes the PlayStation logo. Having Wi-Fi 6 support would offer PS5 owners the chance to enjoy faster connection speeds and lower latency.
