Huawei has lost access to new mobile processors as normal, thanks to the mandatory end of partnerships with crucial suppliers such as TSMC. Now, the CEO of its consumer-facing unit, Yu Chendong, has acknowledged that the company will soon see its last shipments of these vital components in 2020. He has admitted this is "a very big loss" for the company.

Trump is really impulsing US-independent technology (strangely in a good way, although I'm sure his intention is the exact opposite).
Wonder when Europe will start building its own strategic fabs, so as to be technologically independent.
People like to hate on Trump, but forcing everyone to be independent is good for all of us in the long run.
