LG has announced that it will be porting the UI from its recent Velvet smartphone to older handsets, including the V50 ThinQ and G8 ThinQ. Other eligible devices include the V50S ThinQ, V40 ThinQ, V35 ThinQ and G7 ThinQ. These will most likely be Android 10 updates, though.

Huh? I read this article on a V35 already running Android 10 from an OTA update.
V35 is running Android 10, so was all phones released in that year.
However, just like V50 also on 10, it is a slight UI update.
