Mechrevo has confirmed that multiple budget Ryzen 7 4800H gaming laptops should be hitting the market later this year. Featuring up to 91 Wh batteries, 100% sRGB displays and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU, the devices may arrive as Wallmart and Schenker-branded laptops.

This year might be the year where a Walmart (for example) laptop will be superior to almost ANY Dell laptop available at the same store.
hmm... Great CPU, Great GPU (assuming the 2060 it is 110 watts), Great Battery...
and they couldn't put a solid quality 144hz panel on it?
Another flawed AMD laptop...
The code 01 is supposed to be no-dgpu laptop. many people excited on reddit :)
QuoteS2 Air notebook, equipped with AMD 8 core mobile..processor R7 4800H, weighing only 1.13kg
this. is. SOOO cool.
Please check you facts before creating false hopes and excitement! This model will not feature a dGPU, it will be the Ryzen 7 4800H only.

That's not a disadvantage, that's an advantage they didn't pointed out. >:D
PS. Are you going to offer it? Any info when it will release, if the memory is dual channel and other specs?

My thoughts, exactly. I've been looking for a notebook with a solid CPU, good cooling, no dGPU and no numpad for a long time...
Whatever it is better release it fast before Corona gets me.
There's already an Asus TUF line-up with a ryzen 4800H and a variety of GPUs. On Amazon it comes with a 91Whr battery a 144Hz display and an RTX 2060 for about 1200$. Seems like a great deal. Though they do weigh something over 2kg but it's a gaming laptop so it's acceptable

this is exactly what market refused to give us for years.
look at the desktop market. fast cpu and whatever gpu is the most common thing. but this thing did not exist in this garbage "intel monopoly+pocket oems" laptop market.
because, they said, fast cpu means you are a teenager gamer or a real pro making money with nvidia quadro.
until now.
this is why it sooooo great. stupid s*** is over. and having renoir is very helpful, because efficiency, shitload of power, relatively cheap and even igpu is not hd630, you know.
In case anyone is wondering when to buy this chassis in Europe: we are working on it but it's not 100% confirmed yet. That's all I can say right now.
Cheers,
Tom
Hope these come w/ two memory and two M.2 slots w/ the 2060 maxq. Feels like Asus' G14 missed because of that. And no thunderbolt :-(
Wish the upcoming Sept GPU announcement includes updated laptop GPUs but those inevitably trickle out a year later...

Such a shame with that single M.2 PCIe. It's just asking for egpu on the second one. Would be an instant buy.
