Title: MSI GS66: Quite loud for a Stealth notebook
Post by: Redaktion on May 04, 2020, 21:42:17
Visually, the MSI GS66 Stealth offers a very subdued and tasteful impression. But as soon as you turn on the device, the fans quickly make themselves heard.

As many people already pointed out it is really not the smartest decision to review MSI GS66 Stealth with HK option.

What about the i7-10750H with the RTX 2060? Would that model run as hot?

I have the i7 version with RTX 2070 Super Max-Q (SFS10-011) and can confirm that fans quickly get loud and the CPU does heat-up quite fast with performance settings set to "Medium" (even with a cooling pad). If it's just a matter of noise, well maybe not a bad compromise given performance, but I hope it isn't a source of long-term problems.
