Over a month after launching the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max in India, Xiaomi has now brought the series to the global market. The Max model is ditched, with the Redmi Note 9 Pro joined instead by a regular Redmi Note 9 featuring a MediaTek Helio G85.

You have it wrong. Redmi Note 9 Pro (Global) = Redmi Note 9 Pro Max (India) and Redmi Note 9S (Global) = Redmi Note 9 Pro (India). Ikr, the naming is terrible. Redmi Note 9 is new though.
