Title: Motorola's first flagship since 2018 confirmed by Verizon
Post by: Redaktion on March 01, 2020, 02:53:22
A Verizon press release about their 5G network achieving 4.2 Gbps using carrier agregation contains information and specs confirming the existance of an upcomming Motorola flagship. We expect this to be the previously leaked Motorola Edge Plus (Edge+) with a stylus, a competitor to the Samsung Galaxy Note10.

That stick is ugly and very uncomfortable to use, I hope they realize that there's merit to a modern stylus shape.
And with Sony bringing back the jack maybe we could hope that another marginalized smartphone maker could put back the jack at the cost of next to nothing? Moreover I don't believe Motorola sells BT earphones...so they seem to be in no way profiting from this backwards trend.

That it's a leak of of the edge plus, that is actually a picture of the Moto g stylus. The Moto edge plus has a waterfall display.

@Harry Bonsor - Oh dear, that is indeed the Moto G Stylus, thank you for pointing it out. I had just grabbed an image from our archives that had been attributed to EVLeaks. Serves me right for relying on the thumbnail and not looking at it properly.

I've changed the image to avoid confusion.

@S.Yu - The return of the 3.5mm jack on the Xperia 1 II certainly got us at NBC talking. I'm not holding out hope for it here.
