Title: Lenovo ThinkCentre M90n-1 Nano IoT Review - Silent desktop with crippled performance
Post by: Redaktion on January 13, 2020, 08:05:44
The ThinkCentre M90n Nano IoT is a fanless variant of Lenovo's newest mini PC. While the rugged build is solid and the device is completely silent, performance leaves something to be desired, especially given the price.

4GB RAM in 2020 is very dumb to spec. I bet its also working in single channel further crippling performance.

What part of IoT is so hard to understand. The purpose of this device is clearly stated in its name.

A bit misleading given this is a fanless device being compared to PCs with active cooling.... It was clearly designed for IoT specific workloads which require ruggedness/reliability and a modest performance output...
