Surprisingly enough, Samsung was not among the first companies to introduce the PCIe 4.0 standard for its popular 900-series NVMe SSDs last year. However, this year, with the announcement of the 980 Pro models, the South Korean giant finally acknowledges the real market demand for speedier storage solutions.
