Title: The Samsung Galaxy S11+ may be close to launch with new certification
Post by: Redaktion on December 25, 2019, 12:51:55
The Chinese telecomms regulator 3C has just cleared a phone called the Samsung SM-G9880. This phone is currently thought to be the Galaxy S11+, a potential 2020 ultra-flagship phone. If so, it will ship with a 25W charger and support 5G.

IMO by now a charger that takes only one cable is quite useless, who doesn't have a bunch of run-of-the-mill bundled chargers lying around, especially somebody buying a flagship? You either already have a PD charger that goes above 25W(with 2-3 ports, total output >50W), or you should buy one that nobody is going to bundle anyway.
