The AMD Ryzen 9 3950X has been spotted in Geekbench 4 and Geekbench 5, where it handily beat the Intel Core i9-10980XE and Core i9-9980XE, respectively. Considering the 3950X has beat these same CPUs in other benchmarks, it's likely that AMD's latest HEDT monster is more than capable of beating Intel's HEDT offerings.

It's not AMD HEDT processor. It's a mainstream AM4 socket. It's mainstream AMD vs Intel HEDT.
I don't understand. Intel got billions from us but they still on Skylake after 5 years?
Why would you keep calling 3950X HEDT processor when it's AMD mainstream offering - even though it beasts Intel's best HEDT CPU.
AMD's HEDT line is called Threadripper - though Intel just doesn't have any desktop CPU's which could compete.
