Title: Origin PC EVO16-S (Clevo P960RD) Review: A Rare 16.1-inch Gaming Laptop
Post by: Redaktion on August 14, 2019, 09:21:32
Ever wanted a gaming laptop but felt that a 17.3-inch display might be too big and a 15.6-inch display might be too small? Then this high-power 16.1-inch Origin PC EVO16-S should fit the bill.

why no disassembly pictures?
And specifically, why is it so difficult to remove the bottom plate? Are there some additional (hidden? strong?) clips, hidden screws, or is the fit so tight that trying to remove it requires force and can break something? Other reviews make it more clear, this feels like some tried to remove the bottom plate and gave up (why?).

I know this was ages ago, but I found a thread on NBR about opening this:

Turns out you have to remove the keyboard *first*, then there are a couple of case screws underneath.  I still haven't been able to find any pictures, though.
