The AMD Ryzen 7 3800X managed to achieve an impressive 5.9 GHz single-core overclock on LN2. Pro-overclocker 'TSAIK' achieved this on an MSI MEG X570 GODLIKE motherboard and also managed to overclock the DDR4 RAM up to 5,774 MHz. There are no performance numbers yet, but it looks like the Ryzen 7 3800X has very good overclocking potential.

Stop posting stuff like this. These chips don't hit their max advertised clock out of the box. As confirmed by many sources, they cannot be over locked at all. This only works because of LN2. There is NO overclocking potential. Don't mislead potential buyers.

The article refers to LN2 overclock only and not on air. Them not hitting their max advertised clock will be resolved soon through BIOS updates.
Mark my words. AMD's stock is going to $50 per share and perhaps to $100. I bought 2000 shares of this stock at $1.87 per share, knowing that AMD was not at death's door, regardless of the opinions of 'expert analysts'. Keep your eyes on this one - with new products that surpass Intel's, having AMD shares will greatly enhance your portfolio. 8)
