Title: A 800fsb in a socket 479with 667fsb support
Post by: kayhesse on November 25, 2007, 16:45:54
Hi i have a acer 5672AWLMI,

Its with a t2300 (1.66ghz 667)

Now i wanna upgrade it to a higher type but my mobo only supports 667fsb

I saw in the shop the (2.33ghz t7600 667 for 550euro) and a (2.4ghz t7700 800 for 300euro)

So can i put the t7700 in my socket and will it then run on 667? or is it useless and gives it a error?
If it works you can save alot money

With a 800cpu running on 667 would be great :)

I know it works in a desktop cuz i have a E6600 running on 800 and its 1ghz..

Who can help me helps alot.

as you can see here it should not work with a 1066fsb-cpu ... but maybe there was an update for your bios
