Hi i have a acer 5672AWLMI,
Its with a t2300 (1.66ghz 667)
Now i wanna upgrade it to a higher type but my mobo only supports 667fsb
I saw in the shop the (2.33ghz t7600 667 for 550euro) and a (2.4ghz t7700 800 for 300euro)
So can i put the t7700 in my socket and will it then run on 667? or is it useless and gives it a error?
If it works you can save alot money
With a 800cpu running on 667 would be great :)
I know it works in a desktop cuz i have a E6600 running on 800 and its 1ghz..
Who can help me helps alot.
Hi this is not compatibel and dosent work.Your Notebook work only with Fsb 533 and 667Mhz FSB Cpu.
ok thx but why it works on a desktop pc?
Mobo Asus p5gz-mx 800fsb, E6600 1066fsb
as you can see here it should not work with a 1066fsb-cpu ... but maybe there was an update for your bios
