DxOMark introduced a new camera score this week: one that evaluates selfies. The Pixel 3 and Samsung Galaxy Note 9 hold top spot, but the most surprising result belongs to the Huawei Mate 20 Pro and P20 Pro. Both top the charts in the rear camera section but posted sub-par scores in the selfie test.

Selfies are nice and crisp with latest patch. Dynamic range is excellent on Mate 20 PRO as well. But very thin plain of focus is limitation for group selfies. Those turn out blury for sure. One also needs decent light as FF pixels are small. On DXO mark Mate 20 PRO lost many points because of that razor thin field of focus which is not really important for me but can be important for somebody else.
