Less than two years since it launched the Oath subsidiary, Verizon has decided to rebrand it as Verizon Media Group. This change will become effective on January 8, which also happens to be the day when next year's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas will open its gates for the public (after two days of media-only events).
