E Ink has launched Kaleido 4, a new generation of its colour e-paper that doubles the colour gamut volume of Kaleido 3 to more than 40K, raises white reflectance by 15%, improves contrast by 50% and plays video at up to 18fps. The first device to use it is Hanvon Technology's M10C II note-taking tablet.
