OnePlus will unveil the Ice Card Mini magnetic cooler alongside the OnePlus 16 on October 12. The 50g accessory measures 70mm by 53.4mm, pairs a TEC cooling chip with an air-cooling system and can be powered directly by the phone over USB-C. It follows the 68g Magnetic Ice Cooling Clip, which launched in March.

This is all kinds of messed up, a cooling solution for a phone that runs too hot, that adds more bulk and weight, and draws juice from the device battery.
That it's needed at all in the first place is the issue.
