A Reddit user manually counted 3,250 steps to test Casio's $65 F-B100W against a Galaxy Watch7 worn on the same wrist. The Casio overcounted by 3.60% and the Samsung by 2.37%, and the gap tightened up even further when the wearer stopped swinging his arm.
