Seiko has officially listed the new HDB003 watch on its India website as part of the Seiko 5 Sports SKX series. The diver-style watch commemorated Seiko's 145th anniversary and is part of a limited production run of 9,999 pieces worldwide. The timepiece is scheduled for an October 2026 release in India.

Seiko claims that the accuracy of caliber 4R36 is between +45 / -35 seconds per day.

Such inaccuracy is just crazy for an automatic watch. You have to set it to the right time every day;-(

The Swiss movements are 1,000, and they still have a bright future ahead of them. My automatic Swiss watch is accurate to +/- 3 seconds per day. Setting it back to the right time once a month is enough.

Swiss movements are 1,000 times more precise.
