Title: Your old email address can belong to a stranger in 12 months

GMX and WEB.DE are allowed to empty an unused free mailbox after 6 months and hand the address to another user after 12. Section 5.3 of their terms says so at both providers. Anyone still using that address at a shop, an insurer or an old account is sending their password resets to a stranger.

Well, thank you for that info : i am going to delete the couple i have there. is it the same at mail.de ? funny how germany has protective privacy laws but, after the phone number being given to someone else after short time, now there is the mail...
