Asus has added a new MacBook Pro alternative in China with AMD's Ryzen AI 9 H 465 processor and Nvidia's GeForce RTX 5070 GPU. The 16-inch ProArt 16 also features a 2.8K 120 Hz OLED display, 64 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 2 TB SSD.

Comparing a MacBook Pro M5 to this ASUS laptop doesn't make much sense from a price, performance, or usability standpoint. They're aimed at completely different segments and aren't even in the same tier. Someone shopping specifically for the performance and overall experience of an M5 MacBook Pro is unlikely to cross-shop this particular ASUS model.
