Title: Samsung Internet: your monthly security patch never reaches it
Post by: Redaktion on August 21, 2026, 10:00:34
Samsung ships a security patch every month. It does not renew the preinstalled browser, which gets its updates through the Play Store and the Galaxy Store instead. Can't stand Samsung phones, every week a useless pop up screen asking you to download another useless update. The phone is so full of their bloatware that it needs to force all these updates on to you.

Sounds like they're coming from a malware you downloaded yourself rather than those things that people use that term as a buzzword.

What a weird article. Ofc phone OS updates don't include browser updates. All phones ship with app updates enabled by default.
