Apple's MacBook Air is in such short supply that units ordered today will not ship until the end of August, according to retail sources cited by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. Apple is unusually steering buyers toward the base MacBook Pro instead, warning on its site that the MacBook Air is subject to availability.
