The chassis changes alone make the Laptop 13 Pro so much better than the older Laptop 13.5. Not only does it look more professional, but it feels stronger and of much higher quality.

And this is exactly why paying a premium for an upgradeable laptop is one of the worst idea.

Convince me more than 5% of owners upgraded the ram or motherboard+apu before upgrading.

And don't forget that in 3 years they'll release an oled version...

... You are paying the premium mainly due to economies of scale, not the upgrades aspect.
