The DRAM crisis is affecting Fujifilm, as the manufacturer is raising the list prices of select cameras by up to €500. The Fujifilm X100 VI compact camera, the X-T50 mirrorless camera, the GFX100 II medium-format camera, and several other models will become more expensive on September 1.

Digital cameras have already become premium, niche products in the last decade, way too overpriced even for lower tech older models that cost around 800-1200€ for basic body and kit lens combo or for fixed prime lens cameras with so called pseudo 1" sensors.
Adding even more to the price will simply kill off already tiny enthusiast/amateur camera market share of these cameras and spirall down sales yet again and of course in favor of smart phones which have already eradicated budget level digital camera market as well as basically almost wiped out mid-level pocket camera market.
