A new analysis suggests Valve's premium Steam Machine may be enjoying a stronger launch than expected. By examining Steam Hardware Survey data, Boiling Steam estimates the Linux-powered gaming PC is selling steadily despite its high asking price, although Valve has yet to disclose official hardware sales figures.

I have one, it's great! I can play videogames on the TV while relaxing on the couch.

I wish VALVE success, but 8 GB VRAM is arguing in bad faith. Reviews with close to 1 million views even say this. And it's not like it's not been known: Starting like 5 years ago, when first vids cam out saying that 8 GB VRAM are not enough in certain scenarios. Since then the situation got only worse.
For a similar price you can build a desktop PC with 12 GB VRAM GPU and install SteamOS on it.
