While the competition is releasing spec'd-out mini tablets with OLED displays, Apple may have decided to play it basic with the iPad Mini 8. The next slate in Apple's compact tablet series is expected to be released later in 2026.

I'm in the market for a mini-tablet. Was going to wait for iPad mini, but 60Hz is a dealbreaker :(
That Oppo Pad Mini seems really interesting now, although I'm still going to wait until the official Apple announcement, hopefully the 60Hz rumor is wrong.

in comparison to oppo, xiaomi, huawei mini, this is a dinosaur with the gigantic bezels, weight and display.
total joke, only usual apple fans and other morons will buy this.

Laughing with my Huawei Matepad Mini
I wished the Oppo Pad Mini had LTE...
Anyway, future Lenovo Tab with LTE (August) and Honor Pad Mini (around Q4) will be other better options than iPad mini that still lives in 2015.
