It's sad that not extracting insane amounts of money out of a company is news.
These are pretty standard executive pay in the OECD. If anything it's the US that has toxic levels of pay.
Executive here - these are excellent pay packages given how cheap Japan is. With cost of living conversions it's roughly 2-2.5x in the US.
That is more than enough. The fact this is surprising just shows how broken executive pay is in America.
