Title: EV maker Nio’s European dream is falling apart as it registers a mere 45 cars across Europe this year
Post by: Redaktion on July 11, 2026, 21:14:00
Nio's European expansion is faltering, with just 45 vehicles shipped across eight markets in February 2026 and only 15 registered in Germany during the first half of the year. High battery-swapping infrastructure costs, outdated models, import duties and stronger competition have forced the Chinese EV maker to scale back its once-ambitious regional strategy.

EU's motor, namely Germany, has became poorer..17% poorer over the last 5 years (source: The Duran, one of the vids in the last 5 days, towards the end, where Alexander says it).
So, EU maybe just not be the market for expensive EV anymore, especially with the battery value degradation.
And they will become much, much poo... Btw. it's been 37% for the UK (same source). Karma for both.
