The Lecoo Air 14 powered by Intel Wildcat Lake is now available in China. Lenovo introduced it in May 2026, and this affordable MacBook Neo rival has 12GB of RAM, weighs 990g, and is 12.95mm thick. Its initial price is CNY 4,088, around $603.

Hot damn!  We'll have 2020ish level performance for ~2023-level prices!

Idk about performance (except that INTEL CPUs are still nice heaters and not as energy efficient as AMD's and APPLE's made by TSMC), but
Quotea 300 nits brightness rating. So, it's not exactly better than the screen equipped on the MacBook Neo, but the good part is that it has 100% sRGB coverage.
The Neo has a 500 nits display. How is this a rival? Rhetoric question. And it's not even clear how much RAM Windows will eat up. 12 GB RAM on Windows = 8 GB RAM on macOS? Maybe not, but you get the point.
